Privacy Policy

Updated 11 September 2026. The “Debts & Loans” app for iOS.

In short

The app has no accounts and no server. Everything you write down is stored only on your device and in its iOS backup. We cannot see your records and cannot recover them.

What is stored on the device

Names of people, amounts, due dates, comments, payments and the event history — what you enter yourself.
From a contact you pick — the name, a link to its photo and the contact identifier in the address book; all of it stays on your device. The address book is not read as a whole and is not transmitted anywhere; phone numbers and addresses are not stored.
Settings: currency, reminder tone, notification privacy.

What leaves the device

Reminders. A reminder text is sent only through the system Share sheet, when you choose where and to whom.
Export. A CSV file is created at your request and shared the same way.
Pro subscription. The purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store (StoreKit). We receive only the subscription status from Apple; your notebook data is not part of the purchase. Terms: Apple’s standard licensed application EULA.

What there is none of

No analytics, advertising identifiers, trackers, cookies or sharing with third parties. The app does not use the network except for App Store requests related to the subscription.

Notifications

Due-date reminders are local notifications on the device. Amounts are hidden in them by default; you can change this in the profile.

Deleting data

The profile has “Delete all data”: the whole notebook, settings and scheduled notifications are wiped. Deleting the app also removes the data from the device.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13. It does not collect any data at all — from children or adults: everything stays on the device.

Changes

When the policy changes, the date at the top is updated; material changes are noted in the App Store update notes.
